Wife Discovers a Surprise Waiting in the Garage

At their high school reunion, a man and his wife mingle among old classmates, sharing memories and catching up. As they sit down, the wife notices her husband repeatedly glancing at a woman sitting alone at a nearby table. The woman is clearly drunk, downing glass after glass of gin without pause.

Her messy grin and unsteady posture make it obvious she has been at it for a while.
Curious and slightly irritated, the wife finally asks, “Do you know her?”

The husband sighs and nods. “Yes. She’s my ex-wife. She started drinking heavily right after we divorced seven years ago. From what I’ve heard, she hasn’t been sober since.”

The wife’s eyes widen. “My God! Who would think a person could go on celebrating for that long?”
