I was picking up my 3-year-old daughter from daycare one sunny afternoon. On our way home, we passed by a small grocery store. She tugged at my hand, her little eyes wide with excitement, and said,“Daddy, do we need a loaf of bread?

She didn’t want the bread for herself — she wanted to share it with the tiny birds she loved watching every day. We walked to the park, and she giggled as the birds gathered around, happily pecking at the crumbs she offered.That day, my daughter taught me a beautiful lesson: generosity isn’t about giving what’s convenient — it’s about thinking of others, even the smallest creatures, and making the world a little brighter with small acts of kindness.
