A senior citizen took his brand new Corvette out for a spin

🚓 A senior citizen took his brand new Corvette out for a spin, feeling the wind through the last of his gray hair as he hit 80… then 100… then 120 on the interstate.

🏎️💨
But when flashing lights appeared in his rearview mirror, reality hit. He pulled over and waited. The state trooper approached and said,
“Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes.

It’s Friday. If you can give me a reason for speeding that I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.”

The old man replied,
“Years ago, my wife ran off with a State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.” 😳

The trooper burst out laughing.

“Have a good day, sir.” 😆
