I had to think for almost a minute before I came up with the solution.

Let’s break it down logically:

7 years ago, Mom was 23 years old.

That means Mom’s current age is 23 + 7 = 30 years old.

In 7 years, she will be 30 + 7 = 37 years old.

Answer: Mom will be 37 years old in 7 years.
